'Upbeat' Trump calls GOP senators after summit

Countries around the world spoke highly of the landmark meeting between top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong Un and U.S. President Donald Trump in Singapore on Tuesday.

After the summit, Trump announced that he was putting an end to the annual US-South Korean military drills and that he wants to remove the 28,500 American troops stationed in South Korea as a deterrent against a potential North Korean attack.

The Singapore summit gave hope Tuesday to the families of the more than 7,000 US service members missing from the Korean War that they will finally get an accounting. It was the first such high-level delegation from India to visit North Korea in two decades.

He also called for the return of the six-party talks (held by North and South Korea, the United States, Japan, China, and Russia), according to Russian press agency TASS.

"We appreciate President Trump's recent comments about our family", they said. How, then, will discuss human rights between the DPRK and U.S. Secretary of state Mike Pompeo? Trump said to the photographers.

Addressing reporters later, Trump said he showed the video on an iPad to about eight members of the North Korean delegation, including Kim, whose father and former leader Kim Jong-il was a long-time movie buff.

Muguruza defeats Sharapova in straight sets
Muguruza pounced on an error-plagued Sharapova start to lead 4-0 with a double break. "Kind of a weird day", Muguruza said. She is one of two semi-finalists - alongside Garbine Muguruza - who are yet to drop a set this fortnight in Paris .

"I don't think at this first kind of meeting it would have been possible to get into [specific] details", says Evans.

But before the summit officially began, the White House announced Monday that Trump planned to leave Singapore on Tuesday night, saying nuclear talks with North Korea were moving "more quickly than expected".

China has proposed what it calls a dual suspension, whereby North Korea suspends nuclear and missile tests, and South Korea and the U.S. suspend military drills so they can sit down for talks.

"Following this historic summit, I remain sceptical but hopeful that this new dialogue can translate into meaningful progress", Portman said in a statement.

"North Korea was a strong country in early 1970s and South Korea was facing difficulties".

Having said that, Trump at least enjoyed seeing himself star alongside Kim Jong-un in a fake movie trailer which could well turn out be the biggest bromance blockbuster of our century.
