Brad Stevens is on a Different Level

Game 4 of the Celtics-76ers series on Monday in Philadelphia begins at 6 p.m., an unusual start time determined in part by the fact all four Eastern Conference semifinalists are in the Eastern time zone.

The final 10 seconds of regulation in Game 3 of the 76ers-Celtics' second-round series was complete chaos.

Yet here, they are, on the brink of the Conference Finals (again) using a team of role players, rookies and forgotten bench men. Knowing what we know now with the confetti and the eventual loss, had this dunk gone down too, all of Philly might have had to just pack it in and call it a series. "We gotta finish the drill", the 21-year-old told reporters after Boston won a thriller in Philly. We played hard, we fought, it was a tough environment, but when it came down to an ATO to draw up a big basket that we needed, we're getting layups. "We made a couple of bad mistakes at the end". "The fact is the Boston Celtics do expose some of our weaknesses". The opening night loss of Gordon Hayward followed by Kyrie Irving late in the regular season would have sunk most teams, but Boston is on the brink of the NBA's final four due to their team-first attitude. His demeanor keeps the team on an even keel whether they're down by 20, looking to pull off an overtime win, or on the verge of something no one thought was possible.

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers [VIDEO]' rookie Ben Simmons and Markelle Fultz were pretty much non-existent in Game two.

"He's always making sure we're in the right situations", said Tatum, a first-year forward who is averaging 18.1 points a game in the playoffs.

It's nearly a badge of honor to have a performance so good that you have to be tested immediately, just to prove it was all legit. Despite visiting more trees than a lumberjack though, he managed to make a crucial birdie and a par on 12 and 18 respectively.

The game finisher in Horford went onto to drop 13 points on 41.6 percent shooting from the field, to go along with six rebounds, two assists, two steals and three blocks (what's up Embiid?).

McConnell has been very efficient for Philadelphia, but the team is still down 0-3 to the Celtics after Saturday's loss.

Boston has shown solid teamwork and extreme grit in this series, especially in the last two games. The problem, the Celtics stuck with them and hit their shots as well and were able to win in overtime in a highly contested battle. You play [tonight's] game. Stevens said he stills the coaches as well as his teammates. "But I think that, as far as defensively and the things we can control, I think the experience thing is overrated". Walking to the free throw line, Tatum could be heard on the broadcast twice telling Embiid, "You got lucky". "Playing in a lot of big games and understanding what it takes to win, it definitely helps". He is the best coach in the National Basketball Association and the Celtics are the best-coached team in the National Basketball Association. Stevens lets him do that because he knows that Smart is the team's hustler and will make an impact on both ends of the court without shooting the ball.

Marco Bellinelli and JJ Redick were available, as was Embiid.

Most recently Jayson Tatum and the Celtics erased a 22-point deficit on Thursday for the win in Game 2, and Terry Rozier III's 29 points propelled the C's to a win in Game 1 on Monday.
