Conor McGregor "gearing up to fight again" despite NY criminal charges

Conor McGregor

The 29-year-old hasn't fought in the UFC since November 2016 and, while a suspicion remains that McGregor is nearly as big as the MMA promotion, president Dana White isn't sure what this means for the lightweight champion.

When the bus pulls off, McGregor chases after it and throws the hand truck at the window, smashing it, despite cries of "Don't you'll go to jail" as security tries to stop him. White also said this week he did not expect McGregor to attend Saturday's fights. However, that wasn't the case.

Lightweight Michael Chiesa sustained facial cuts, deeming him unfit to fight by the New York State Athletic Commission and UFC medical team.

"There's a line between trash-talking and inappropriate behaviour, and McGregor triple-jumped it", wrote the Bleacher Report 's Hunter Homistek at the time. The bus was moving slowly through the Barclays Centre loading dock at the time.

McGregor and crew proceeded to launch any manner of objects at a van, shattering a side window and cracking the windshield.

After being restrained, attention turned towards the fighters on the buses.

In one of the UFC videos, you can see Chiesa's forehead cut right down the middle. When he was taken to the hospital Borg reported he couldn't see out of his injured eye.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. remembered fifty years after assassination
In the article, Jackson speaks about being invited to the city where King was assassinated, Memphis, by Bill Cosby. First and foremost is the election and re-election of Barack Obama, our nation's first African-American president.

This by far was the oddest, and the most freaky event to happen.

And now new footage of the incident has been published by the UFC.

The bus attack is just one issue clouding Saturday night's events.

"Conor is a great father, a fiercely loyal friend, and one of the best athletes in the world". Nurmagomedov will fight Max Holloway for the lightweight championship left vacant by McGregor.

McGregor was once the proud title owner of both the 145 and 155-pound championships and even boldly stated he wanted an ownership stake in UFC. Meanwhile, Artem Lobov, who was with McGregor's group, had been pulled from the card for his involvement in the attack.

Supporters, including fellow fighter Dillon Danis, packed the courtroom for the arraignments. The incident reportedly sparked the McGregor-led attack. There were a couple of guys at the press conference that were acting like they knew something like he was coming here.

On Friday, McGregor was pictured being led out of a NY police station in handcuffs as he faced charges over a brawl. McGregor was taken into custody after turning himself in to the 78th precinct in Brooklyn on Thursday night, and he is due to appear in court on Friday.
