Rose McGowan tears up when admitting her sister said they weren't related

McGowan detailed her personal rape accusation against Weinstein from 1997 when she met him in his suite during the Sundance Film Festival when she was 23 years old.

Instead, she alleged, after a half-hour discussion about her career, he held her down on the edge of a jacuzzi and raped her.

His attorney also provided a quote he claims was from Affleck, who McGowan says she told about the alleged assault while they were promoting "Phantoms", a movie produced by Weinstein and co-starring Ben Affleck. "I told him to stop doing that".

A spokesperson for Weinstein said at the time of the allegations: "Any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied by Mr Weinstein".

She is not an easy person, and to read her memoir is to understand why.

McGowan has previously called the alleged assault "rape", and says she stands by that description, even if the law doesn't recognise it as such.

McGowan also talks at some length about her unorthodox family history, including her late father's role as a cult leader, and the impact that had on her.

Patriots confirm Gronkowski concussion; TE not cleared to practice
Had Minnesota actually showed up for the NFC Championship Game, New York would be draped in purple and gold right now. Gronkowski has averaged a shade under 12 TD grabs in seasons he's played 10 or more games.

"I wish there were charges because I find it very odd, like how many women does it take?", McGowan said. "I don't think it's a thing where I need to build a narrative, because it's the story", McGowan says. In it, she details her childhood growing up in the Children of God cult and explains her extensive cosmetic surgery. She also says other people "counseled me to see it as something that would help my career in the long run".

McGowan went public with her allegations against Harvey Weinstein last fall but chooses not to name him in fearless, instead referring to him throughout as the "Monster". "I was number one on his target list for 20 years to smear me and create this false identity of like a insane, off-balanced woman which is what they do to all of us".

"I have no knowledge about anything Rose did or claimed to have done", Affleck allegedly wrote in an email to Weinstein, according to Brafman. She is Patient Zero in the groundswell of reporting that exposed Weinstein last fall.

She then writes of telling another powerful manager, who said, "Goddamn it, I just had an exposé about him killed in the L.A. Times; he owes it to me not to do this". McGowan isn't always well served, however, by the arty nature of the presentation, which at times does as much to distract from her message as advance it.

She continued, "Your brain is in another place and all of a sudden your body is like, 'What, what, what?' This is not what I expected at 10 in the morning". This is somebody who has been a star and put herself out there in the most exposed and visible way being told, "We hear you".

As you may know, Rose said on The View today that Justin Timberlake was one of the people who are a part of the "Hollywood fakery", meaning that their foundational principles aren't in line with the Times Up movement.
