PM Modi arrives in Israel for 3-Day Visit

Describing Modi as a "great world leader", Netanyahu said Israel had waited for the past 70 years for a visit by an Indian premier.

During the visit, he will engage with a cross section of Israeli society.

Modi, who will not be meeting Palestinian officials while he is in town, was welcomed with an honor guard and warmly hugged Netanyahu as he descended from the aircraft. India's GDP is $2.25 trillion per year.

The personal chemistry and the warmth between Modi and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was apparent in their remarks and their hugs.
