Ubisoft's Skull & Bones is Black Flag without the Assassins

Ubisoft got excited about the pirate ship warfare in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The life of a pirate wasn't all fun and games though, and the cinematic trailer below shows this.

Following a juicy CG trailer, Justin Farron, Skull and Bones' creative director, took the floor to describe the game as "the ultimate pirate experience".

Two groups of rival players competed in a player-versus-player mode, each battling each other and the elements to pillage the most loot. Another interesting feature listed on the game's website is the game world's ability to react to your actions.

Similarly, Sea of Thieves' main focus is on PVP and social interaction.
