Watch India Vs Australia 4th Test Day 3 Live Match on Hotstar

Off-spinner Nathan Lyon claimed four wickets as Australia restricted India to 248/6 at the end of Day 2 of the fourth and final Test match of the Border-Gavaskar series. This is Suvajit Mustafi, and I will be bringing you all the live cricket scores and posts from the third day of the series-decider at the gorgeous HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala.

For Australia, Smith scored 111, followed by Warner 56, the second highest scorer for the team.

Pat Cummins and new ball colleague Josh Hazlewood were aggressive in the morning session on a pitch which offered wholesome bounce to the pacemen.

Smith outpaced David Warner in a free wheeling first session for Australia, who were scoring at more than four an over. At 157 for two, and with the dependable Cheteshwar Pujara and stand-in skipper Ajinkya Rahane looking set in the middle, India appeared to have the upper hand before Lyon (4-67) intervened after tea. But if you are not giving away too many runs, you are bound to get wickets.

"I think he really showed he (Cummins) is world-class".

"Josh and Cummins in the first session, I can say it's the toughest session I have faced in Test cricket so far".

Oregon Ducks women stun Maryland to reach NCAA Elite Eight
Kansas guard Lagerald Vick (2) contests a shot from OR forward Dillon Brooks (24) during. "It's a weird thing for me", he said. That momentum carried into the third quarter and a 3-pointer by Lexi Bando boosted Oregon's lead to 50-39 with 3:05 remaining.

"I am happy to go out there and bowl", Lyon said. One hopes this Test still holds more twists and turns, and reaches the exciting denouement similarly to the one few weeks earlier at the Chinnaswamy.

Jadeja threw his bat around and put on 27 runs for the seventh wicket with Saha.

At Dharamsala, with the series up for grabs, Indian bowlers manfully limited the damage of Steve Smith's brilliant form and restricted Australia to just 300 by the close of play on Day 1. Lyon revealed mixing up his speeds was a "tactic". So prolific was he when India last came to Australia, Kohli resorted to placing a leg slip in a forlorn attempt to silence Smith. As Australian bowlers, I was pretty proud of all of us out there. "They put the ball in the right areas and they swung the ball bowled with lot of pace and venom", Rahul was all praise for the rival speed merchants. One of the major areas of concern for Kuldeep was that he was a bit slow off the wicket.

Once again in this see-sawing series, there isn't much separating the evenly matched teams and Day 3 looms as another pivotal juncture. The two Yadavs - Kuldeep and Umesh (2, 8b) - hung around for a little while, before a top-edged sweep from Kuldeep (7, 17b, 1x4) gave Lyon his five-for. "We saw Patty (Cummins) created a chance there with the new ball, so if we can come out and bowl well again tomorrow - cricket's a amusing game so we just need to come out and do exactly the same thing as what we did to the top order".

He was not afraid of the short pitched stuff bowled by Cummins as he pulled him to deep mid-wicket for a boundary and then for good measure hooked him behind square for his fourth six.
