Hugh Jackman pleased he's off his Wolverine diet

By now you've probably heard how great Logan turned out to be as the swan song for Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. With Logan, however, Jackman insists he is sheathing his claws for good.

While it may have been nice to see more scenes in Logan, the film is pretty flawless as it is (also, the movie is very long already).

"Superhero landing. She's gonna do a superhero landing. I don't know where to go".

Wolverine has always been the ball of rage of the X-Men, and with Logan, the violence of the character has finally been let loose, making it the ideal curtain call for Jackman. Logan has been reduced to driving a limo in order to scrape up the resources necessary to take care of Charles (now confined to a wheelchair and drugged up most of the time) and Caliban (mostly forced to stay indoors due to his sun sensitivity). And he heard about it from fans... often.

If one were to read into the exchange, one could deduce that the two actors know more than they pretend to know. Jackman took a huge pay cut to star in this movie, the producers (and fans) campaigned for an R-rating, and a lot of unusual things happened that most studios would be cautious about. "They're very vocal with me".

The Warriors will have a bit of an obstacle to overcome of their own, as Kevin Durant won't be suiting up for the game. They're still adjusting to life with Durant, and now, with Durant's injury, that all takes a step back.

He recalled: "She told me, "Hugh, you were at the National Theatre with Sir Trevor Nunn, you can not have claws coming out of your hands, this is ridiculous". 'What were you thinking?! "And I remember thinking, 'One day, I'd love to be on stage with this man.' So when I turned up to audition [for 'X-Men"], I was completely starstruck.

Jackman, a versatile Golden Globe and Tony Award-winning performer as comfortable in stage musicals as blockbusters, has always been open about the fact that "Logan" would be his last Wolverine movie.

He has been carrying claws since 17 years and his hard work for the role is something that inspired many boy building geeks. Makes sense to me.

Logan reigned, but there were other openers at the box office this weekend, and a strong follow up weekend for last weekend's breakout, Get Out. This year, along with Logan, March openers will include Kong: Skull Island, Beauty and the Beast, CHIPs, Power Rangers, LIfe (with Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal), and Ghost in the Shell; however, that last one opens on March 31st.
