Randy Orton eliminates Roman Reigns, wins Royal Rumble

The 2017 Royal Rumble which was revolving around the big names like The Undertaker, Goldberg, Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle who was expected to make the surprise entry but it did not happen and "The Viper" Randy Orton was the victor.

The BFFs kick us off tonight, and both Owens and Jericho are showing the effects of their matches last night.

When you have John Cena taking on AJ Styles for the WWE title, it will be epic. The sizzle of a Wyatt addition to a title chase and Orton lurking is something that fans can get into. They are two of the biggest names of all time, and have long careers with the company. Swann accepted a match for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at the Royal Rumble. Owens retained his title after Braun Strowman interfered and laid out Reigns.

Firstly, credit where credit is due: Braun Strowman had an incredible run while he was in the ring, cleaning house with impunity.

Playful Mourinho teases Wenger jibe as Man Utd reach final
United nearly compounded Hull's misery inside the final 20 minutes, though a Rojo header cracked against the crossbar. As expected, the visitors came out with a more offensive approach and had a solid shout for a penalty of their own.

WWE has made a distinct emphasis on their Big-4 PPVs and the RAW/SmackDown shows following them. It was an unsuccessful attempt and the latter then went on to eliminate James Ellsworth. The Beast immediately showed his dominance by flooring each and every fighter in the ring and standing tall above them.

But once Strowman was eliminated, things got boring until the final 20 minutes. With it came to end Cesaro & Sheamus' 42-day reign. Luke Harper also entered the fray, thus completing the fading Wyatt family with Bray Wyatt already in the ring. Lesnar had a few good eliminations of his own, but none of them are likely to matter given the embarrassment he (once again) suffered at Goldberg's hands. If you're keeping tabs at home, that's the second straight PPV that Goldberg easily dispatched Lesnar. His humiliating loss to Goldberg was still fresh in the mind of Lesnar and he would want nothing but to eliminate Goldberg.

"If Reigns were to defeat Undertaker at WM in Orlando, it would propel Reigns to the next level of villainy and a star would be born one has to assume."

The WWE Kickoff Show starts at 5:00 P.M. Eastern, while the Royal Rumble officially begins at 7:00 P.M. Eastern. With Reigns expected to be Universal Champion heading into 'Mania, whatever McMahon decides to do with Reigns will have a domino effect on the rest of the WrestleMania 33 card. The former WCW/ WWE champion would, later on, be eliminated by the Undertaker. It was rumored in recent days that Reigns will face Undertaker but not it looks like those plans are off, for now anyway. Since then, he's lost to Bray Wyatt, joined the Wyatts, won the Smackdown Tag Team Titles, lost the titles, and has just been treading water since then.
