Cowboys plan to keep on driving even if home field clinched

The Cowboys have the best record in the National Football League at 11-1 and are led by two talented rookies, Quarterback Dax Prescott, and running back Ezekiel Elliott.

The New York Giants remain the only blemish on the Dallas Cowboys' 11-1 record this season, so it should come as no surprise the Cowboys have several players playing and grading well on both sides of the ball this season.

Ezekiel Elliott needed less than one season to win over the Dallas Cowboys' greatest-ever running back. All-time leading rusher and former Cowboy, Emmitt Smith has nothing but good things to say about Elliot.

"I'm 23", Prescott said Wednesday. "Ain't nothing going to come easy, it's going to be a hard-fought game like they always are, and we got to go out there and execute".

Ezekiel Elliott called himself average after the New York Giants held him to less than 3 yards per carry in a loss in his National Football League debut with Dallas. The Cowboys can clinch the NFC East and home field advantage throughout the playoffs with a win this weekend. The Cowboys are also 6-2 SU in their last eight games on Sunday night, winning by six points or more on four occasions.

Dallas has enjoyed success in prime time this season, posting SU wins in three games under the lights while covering in two.

Ohio State: Beat Notre Dame, 44-28, in the Fiesta Bowl last season after winning the inaugural CFP championship the year before. The only truly comparable teams were Oklahoma (which finished 11-1), and Iowa (12-1), who lost in its 13th-data-point chance.

"We'll have to win out", Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr said of the team's playoff chances. "Check out our practices". "You're gonna see that play pick up, you're gonna see teams bringing their best". The better we are, the deeper we get into January and February is the ultimate goal, of course.

If I were them, I would be anxious about the Seahawks who may have lost a great defensive player on Sunday when safety Earl Thomas broke his leg but seem to have gained a running game, thanks to a healthy Thomas Rawls; I'd worry about those aforementioned Pats and Raiders; and I'd expect decent to good odds against nearly anybody.

The Cowboys won 11 straight over two regular seasons in 1968-69 and two years later won the last 10 games, including the playoffs, for the Super Bowl title. "Sometimes you need to just get out there and let loose and be competitive". Manning's offense could get a boost Sunday with the return of running back Shane Vereen, who is an excellent receiver out of the backfield. But Garretts answer isnt likely to change much.

"Yeah, we're just focused on Wednesday", he said. “Locked in on our meetings this morning. "That's the world we live in". His rookie replacement, Dak Prescott, has played so well that he has retained the starting position, even after Romo's injury healed.

But that issue can wait. "It's something that is your character". If youre the type of guy who coasts, youre the type of guy who coasts. "I don't have any worries about that". First, the Giants' maligned ground attack will be tested by the Cowboys' second-rated rushing defense (82.2 yards per game).
