No. 4 Washington defeats No. 8 Colorado for Pac-12 title

Washington rolled to a Pac-12 title and seemingly locked up a spot in the College Football Playoff too. For the Colorado Buffaloes, no one expected this type of season, as they claimed the PAC 12 South, and have a 10-2 record.

The Buffaloes stayed in the same hotel as the Broncos did for the Super Bowl, and will wear white jerseys and white trousers, the same combination the Broncos wore when they beat the Carolina Panthers.

"We think we have a heck of a team and we think we belong in there", Petersen said.

As Colorado's Jimmie Gilbert dragged Jake Browning to the turf in the third quarter of Friday's Pac-12 championship game, the Washington quarterback - already playing one of his worst games of the season - heaved what any coach might deem his worst throw of the night.

Gaskin (142 yards) and Coleman (101 yards) both rushed for 100 yards to help offset an uncharacteristically slow start from star quarterback Jake Browning.

In his third season, Petersen took Washington to new heights - even if he's in a familiar spot. But plenty of opponents had more overall talent than Colorado this season and the Buffs won consistently all year. Potoa'e finished with one tackle, though it was for a loss. Although Washington is an eight point favorite, Pac-12 Network's Yogi Roth says these teams are very evenly matched, especially on the outside of the field. But none of those arguments is going to keep this team out of the College Football Playoff.

Two unlikely foes will meet for the right to be crowned champions of the Pac-12 tonight at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Rory's love life bombshell on Gilmore Girls — SPOILER ALERT
But I don't see it as a cliffhanger. "But then, once I sat with it for a little while, I figured of course - it's full circle". Scott Patterson, Luke to " Gilmore Girl " viewers, thinks it would be a great idea to peek in on the gang occasionally.

That season featured the Buffaloes wrecking the Texas Longhorns' postseason hopes as a top-10 team. By the end, the Huskies were up 41-10 and Colorado was left scratching their heads wondering where things went wrong. Besides its loss to the Trojans, its two defeats came against top-five teams, Washington and MI. The Big Ten definitely has that problem right now. With a win, Washington will have a compelling case to stay in the top four. Don't lose to Stanford or Utah. Only Alabama, Ohio State and Clemson (if it beats Virginia Tech) will be able to claim more. "Their schedule is not as strong as others, but they have played and beaten good teams".

Washington's defense is nearly as good as Colorado's.

The Huskies are going to the postseason that matters, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

What about Browning? The quarterback didn't have his best night, but he didn't have to.

Washington didn't need their passing game with as effectively as they ran the ball however. Receiver John Ross will be one of the most-dynamic players in the playoff. The Huskies came in as the favorite and Colorado was looking to play spoiler for any playoff berth thought the Huskies may have had.

In what was a projected as a defensive battle between two of the best defenses in both the conference and the nation, the Huskies put in a clinical performance.
